Mark, born in 1970, is from Long Island, New York, where, as a singer and piano player, he grew up performing the music of his favorite musician, fellow Long Islander Billy Joel. While Mark has been singing and playing piano all his life, Dr. Decibel and the Sound Prescription is his first official performing band.

Mark is also an avid barbershop singer, singing with the Salt Lake-based Saltaires Chorus. He served as that group’s President for two years and now serves as their VP of Membership. Mark works for the LDS Church in Salt Lake City in the Controllership Services Division.
