Jay has appeared as a regular orchestra and musical director at the Grand Theater of Salt Lake Community College with credits of Brigadoon, Damn Yankees, Gypsy, Paint Your Wagon, Annie Get Your Gun, at Hale Center Theater - Forever Plaid, Oliver, other appearances at Desert Star playhouse, and currently teaches vocal music at Skyline High School where he continues to have gold medal winning boys and girls barbershop choruses.

He joined Salt City Transfer in 1986 replacing Mike Anderson as lead and has sung with them ever since. He has a First Place Novice with "The Next Best Thing" a District Gold Medal and an International Top Ten finish with the Saltaires.

His years of experience and musical performance excellence provide a rare opportunity to achieve unequalled acclaim.

In 2005, he joined "Class Reunion" as a lead vocalist to replace a different Mike Anderson. He also plays auxilliary keyboard.
